A staff member for Tom Tiffany’s gubernatorial campaign was arrested and cited for OWI in Eau Claire, Wisconsin court records show.
Eric Brooks, who also serves in an elected position on the Waukesha School Board, was arrested on Oct. 16 and cited on Oct. 19. He is also cited with “Operation w/o Required Lamps Lighted”, with the violation occurring on Oct. 16. For the OWI (Operating While Intoxicated), it is a first offense.
Brooks was recently in the news after barring reporters from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel from covering a Tiffany campaign event in Milwaukee on Sept. 24.
